1) Preparation before starting centrifugal pump

① Check the pump and motor to confirm that the installation of the centrifugal pump is completed, the motor unit is qualified for test run, the process conditions are met, the centrifugal pump is in normal test run state, and relevant personnel arrive at the site.

② Check whether the anchor bolts of the pump and motor are firm, remove the coupling cover, press the pump to run the steering wheel for three turns, and check whether the coupling is concentric, whether there is stuck, abnormal sound, etc.

③ Check whether the lubricating oil of the pump is 1/2~2/3 of the oil mark. If there is emulsification, change the lubricating oil.

④ Open the flushing fluid valve of mechanical seal with mechanical seal, and open the cooling water valve with cooling water, and there is no leakage.

⑤ Close the inlet and outlet pipelines and the water guide of the pump body, check whether the inlet and outlet valves are tight and flexible, and whether the pressure gauge is sensitive

⑥ When the above inspection is normal, short-time test run (spot test) of the pump on site, check whether the rotation direction of the pump is correct, and reassemble the coupling cover.

2) Start-up of centrifugal pump

① Open the exhaust valve of the pump body and the inlet valve of the pump. The outlet valve of the pump is closed. After the exhaust valve is discharged, close the exhaust valve and open the pressure gauge valve at the same time.

② Contact the master controller to start the pump, press the start button to start the pump, and listen for noise.

③ After reaching the rated speed and the outlet pressure is stable, slowly open the pump outlet valve and adjust the opening of the outlet flow control valve to make the pressure and current value within the scope of the process index.

Note:

a. While gradually opening the pump outlet valve, pay attention to the change of motor current, pump outlet pressure and flow rate. If the pressure indication value suddenly drops, close the outlet valve and gradually open the outlet valve after the pressure is normal.

B. if the pump outlet with regulating valve to adjust the flow, the outlet stop valve should be fully open.

C. should avoid the pump in the case of shut-off valve closed for a long time running (time can not exceed 3min).

d. When the new pump is started for the first time, the load shall be gradually increased to the rated current;

E. in the pump running state, the inlet valve should be fully open, never allow the suction valve to adjust the pump flow, in order to avoid cavitation.

F. daily centrifugal pump before the start of the preparation and start-up should also be in accordance with the above procedures.
